Advantage of a distant In-Law's house

Till Friday, the 12th of March, it had never been encouraging to travel the more than 20 odd km for visiting my in-laws and had always longed that they live nearer. The problem is not only the distance but also the mode of communication that required at least 1 change in the way. Also, being a phobic to crowded buses and also to aggressive expenses, while travelling alone, I try to optimize the situation by changing more than once that though economizes on the spending but taxes on the physique. So it was not with a very spirited mood that I started the journey on Friday and during one of the changes, last but two for that particular day, as I was comfortably stranded near the closed door of a volvo type bus, near the driver's seat, I don't know why I silently strated contemplating on a problem of my current project that also at times used to haunt me as it pertains to my phd problem as well. And right then the brainwave struck and not only I did get a brilliant idea to pursue but also the simplicity of the apparent solution helped me to formulate the next course of action standing right there in the bus. Thus I could not but help congratulate my in-laws to reside in such a distant location as if it was not the monotonicity of the journey I may not have been forced to concentrate on such a complex issue for such a long time so as to come closer to its probable solution, a small but significant step to the final outcome!!
